Poltroons Logo Says It all!

Take a look at the new cloisonne version of the Poltroons logo. Across the top the famed slogan "Hostile, Senile, Fragile" - which the team has lived up to for so many years. Underneath is a crown placed on a rugby ball - showing that rugby is king! The XV + 1 means the Poltroons always include the referee on their squad and the over-flowing beer mug needs little explanation as to why so many aging ruggers continue to participate in the sport. The three red stars relate to the star quality of the club, and the hostile, senile, fragile motto. The surrounding laured leaves were used by the ancient Greeks to honor athletes. They are used on the Poltroons emblem solely for decorative reasons.
